Every long manuscript hits the same wall: it gets too big to hold in your head. You feel that something is off in the middle, but you can’t point to it. Narrastat exists to make that feeling concrete.

What it does

Narrastat reads the story you’ve written and turns it into a story-health dashboard:

• Pacing — where momentum rises and where it sags, scene by scene.
• Tone — the emotional shape of the book across its arc.
• Character presence — who carries each scene, and who quietly disappears for nine chapters.
• Structure — how your scenes map to your plot framework, with flags for empty stages.

Why “by the numbers”

We’re not trying to write your book, and we’re not scoring it against a formula. The numbers come from your draft — they’re a mirror, not a rulebook. Revision gets easier when you can see the shape of what you actually wrote.
